Studied kinetic-based war magic at Limsa Lominsa’s 'Admiralty Academy of Arcanima & Natural Philosophy'; and has recently landed herself an understudy position working for the court magus of an Ul'dahn pasha and the Divan of Law; meritocratic collectivist & believes in the importance of group cohesion and conformity; can be quite stern and intense; firm older sister type and you're never too old for her to take you over her knee; from a big extended family belonging to a miqo'te diaspora community in the east Vylbrandian city of Bellegrada; a lot of stress, quiet pining, and working herself to death; overachiever that pulls long hours and has a lot of people counting on her....which means she's had plenty of time to build up a lot of frustration and repression that's just primed for venting; can be a little ruthless at times; just has those 'predatory Kokkish instincts'; (she’s not sure when she started internalising this, turning it into a kind of permission); the ones that make her a bit pushy if she smells too much weakness on you; might shove you around and make you do errands for her to help you understand the pecking order; poor thing; but she can't help it if you're going to act like such a screw-up; she means well enough, though, right?; figures people just need more purpose; and it’s not all bad: she protects those that are 'hers'.

A sprawling, seaside metropolis along Vylbrand’s eastern coast, Bellegrada is known for high crime rates, vast, trade-heavy harbours, a vivid legacy of sellsword companies, and impoverished communes of ethnic Kokkish miqo’te. Mehri grew up in one of these collectivist, community-first communes who helped pay for her tuition to attend an arcanima academy in the hope of improving living conditions back home.

[note: old role-play group I created and previously ran]

Ankhesen Amunet, born Kosem Suleyolu, Matriarch of the Suleyolu Clan, is a celebrated priestess at the Temple of Nald & Thal, and is currently on-loan as acting court magus to an Ul’dahn pasha and the current seat to the Divan of Law. She is Mehri’s mentor and master who hopes to improve her arcane connections in spite of her poor upbringing by performing the role of understudy. This is an NPC of mine.

Most of my characters tend to be anti-cyberpunk & sol9 aesthetically-speaking. However, Mehri is a more relaxed character so she'll occasionally have more modern clothes and might even use a tomestone as a cellphone (though the tomestone part will never be in public rp). I still don't love cyberpunk for her, though. Ya'll just rarely make it look good...

On that note, I am open to romance, though I enjoy a good amount of build-up for that and also I like it to have like some level of spice or tension (go ahead, let her bully you a little, it'll be cuuuuute)!▍ ❝   ENTHUSIASM.
Not really a rule, but enthusiasm really works for me. If you waffle around a discussion, I might lose interest, but bring your eagerness to write and brainstorm and I'll bring mine! Of course, you can have too much of a good thing so don't like totally blitz me either!
